How the Green Deal Call-funded projects are tackling mobility aspects of the Fit for 55 proposals

This report delves into the core challenges faced by the aviation and shipping sectors in meeting Fit for 55 targets, emphasising the need for technological development and low-carbon infrastructure. 

These challenges are addressed by several Green Deal Call-funded projects through a number of innovative solutions, whilst supporting international agreements such as CORSIA in aviation and the IMO Greenhouse Gas Strategy in shipping. 

Finally, it underscores the pivotal role of scientific research and policy initiatives, exemplified by these projects, in achieving sustainable, low-carbon mobility and meeting Fit for 55 targets.
