Citizen Science is the practice of public participation and collaboration in scientific research to increase scientific knowledge. This rapidly emerging mode of research and innovation shows substantial potential in terms of achieving greater societal impact and increasing trust in science, by leveraging collective societal capabilities, by enlarging the scope of R&I, and by increasing relevance, responsiveness, and transparency. Several projects funded under H2020 Green Deal call are working on solutions that will enable citizens to get involved in Green Deal implementation through, among others, citizen science and observation initiatives.
This webinar shares information, experiences (including challenges & barriers) and lessons learned, as well as identifying good practices in citizen science projects.
