This webinar has been organised in collaboration by ALTERNATIVE, ZeroPM, PROMISCES, SCENARIOS, LIFESAVER, and PANORAMIX, Green Deal Projects Support Office (GD-SO) projects in the Health working group. The aim of this peer-to-peer exchange provided by the GD-SO is to encourage the exchange of knowledge, promote synergies, and strengthen cooperation among projects working on similar topics and between the Green Deal projects and those from the European Commission institutions or other key stakeholders working on this topic. More specifically, the idea is to create learning experiences and transfer knowledge among peers and policymakers.

The objectives of this peer-to-peer exchange are twofold:

  • Discuss the progress made in implementing the EU roadmap to an animal-free regulatory system, considering the parallel progress made by the projects since the work on the joint policy brief.
  • Assess how the key exploitable results from the projects can be best used by policy makers from DG-ENV, ECHA, EFSA and other EU institutions, and thus contribute to achieving the EU commitment to reduce animal testing.
