Nature-based Solutions: Devising actions to achieve rapid and far-reaching transformational adaptation

In this webinar recording we explore nature-based solutions (NbS) for climate adaptation, specifically focusing on how to identify the root causes of the problem, including different typologies and implementation on the ground, their financing mechanisms and possible replication and upscale.

This event was part of the EU TransformAr Project, in collaboration with the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change and the GDSO, as part of the activities of the Peer-2-Peer programme and the Working Group on Biodiversity and Climate Change. TransformAR aims to promote large-scale transformative adaptation in vulnerable European regions. The project implements a range of actionable adaptive solutions covering nature-based solutions, innovative technologies, financing, insurance models, awareness programs, and governance models.

This webinar is part of a series focused on presenting the solutions developed by the TransformAR demonstrators.
