European Commission’s Patrick Child Visits ARV Utrecht Energy Lab

On 5 February 2025, Patrick Child, Deputy Director General for Environment at the European Commission, visited the ARV Utrecht Energy Lab as part of a regional tour. During his visit, he explored key institutions, including RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, Gemeente Utrecht, Utrecht University and the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) where he engaged with experts on applied energy research.

The ARV Utrecht demonstration partners showcased projects focused on sustainability, education, and ecosystem innovation, highlighting efforts to create energy-efficient and climate-neutral cities.
