A final interview highlights the project impact and the future potential of Agro2Circular's applications in Murcia

Agro2Circular is successfully concluding its activities and, to celebrate this milestone, a video interview featuring Joaquín Gómez, Director of the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia (INFO), has been released, offering valuable insights into the project’s outcomes and their positive impact on the Murcia region.

In the interview, Mr. Gómez discusses the substantial benefits A2C’s results have brought to the Murcia region, emphasizing: the economic growth and the environmental sustainability . The project has fostered new business models and innovative practices, leading to economic development within the region. Besides, by effectively managing and valorising local resources, A2C has contributed to reducing waste and promoting sustainable practices.

Mr. Gómez also highlights the aspect of A2C with the highest implementation potential, noting the project’s systemic approach to creating a circular economy model that is both replicable and scalable across Europe.

The interview was shot during the project’s final event, whoch was held on March 13, 2025, at the Murcia Scientific Park. The event was organized in collaboration with BIO2REG and it showcased A2C’s achievements and future legacy in the circular bioeconomy.
