Restore4Life Call for Associated Regions and Webinar

Restore4Life is working to reinstate lateral connectivity in riverine corridors in the Danube basin. The Project brings together 31 partners from 14 European countries and is creating new blue-green infrastructure that is helping to restore ecological balance.

The Restore4Life consortium is excited to announce that a Call for Associated Regions will be launched on 1 February 2024. The aim of the call will be to share the results and knowledge of the project on an ongoing basis with five selected associated regions. These associated regions will be provided with scientific and technical support, so that they can implement wetland restoration measures in their territories. This exercise will involve twinning each associated region with a similar demonstration site. Restore4Life will then provide technical advice and tools, enabling the associated regions to prepare roadmaps, plans and projects to implement innovative solutions, aimed at restoring wetland ecosystems. Each associated region can apply for a grant of up to €100 000.

As part of the preparations for the launch of the call, the project consortium will host a webinar, during which potential applicants will have the opportunity to find out more about the call, eligibility criteria and programme timeline. They will also have a chance to ask questions.

The webinar is taking place on 15 December 2023 at 10:00 am CET
