Description
This call is under the Anchor Project ‘Programme for the enhancement and promotion of the cultural and natural heritage of the rural coast’, planned under Portugal’s MAR2030 Programme within the Local Development Strategy of the GAL.
Objectives:
To undertake interventions that value and restore the natural heritage, resources, and existing marine and coastal habitats, as well as the scenic and landscape quality, creating value and simultaneously contributing to their regeneration.
Eligible applicants:
Local authorities in the intervention territory. The intervention territory for this project covers:
- Municipality of Matosinhos - Union of Parishes of Matosinhos and Leça da Palmeira, Union of Parishes of Perafita, Lavra and Santa Cruz do Bispo;
- Municipality of Póvoa de Varzim - União das Freguesias da Póvoa de Varzim, Beiriz e Argivai, União das Freguesias de A Vero-Mar, Amorim e Terroso, União das Freguesias de Aguçadoura e Navais, Estela;
- Municipality of Vila do Conde - Árvore, Azurara, Labruge, Mindelo, Vila Chã, Vila do Conde.
Budget:
The indicative fund allocation available for this call is EUR 280 000. The EMFAF contribution rate is set at the maximum regulatory level of 70% of the total budget.
