Description

The INSPIRE project brings different technologies and solutions that focus on the detection, collection and prevention of litter, plastics and macroplastics in rivers and on riverbanks.

INSPIRE has issued its call for local and regional authorities from Associated Regions. The project is seeking to select proposals from local and regional authorities from Associated Regions and manage the Financial Support to Third Parties for scaling up, replication and exploitation of the lessons learnt from the project use cases.

Objectives:

INSPIRE is looking for the participation of at least five projects. The selected beneficiaries commit to carrying out the following activities in their role as part of an Associated Region to the INSPIRE project:

  • Participation in workshops and meetings for knowledge transfer during the INSPIRE implementation.
  • Participation in developing blueprints and business roadmaps for the replication sites.

Beneficiaries will team-up with INSPIRE partners in implementing 20 technologies and actions and become one of the early adopters of an INSPIRE solution deployment, replication and exploitation in their region.

Eligible applicants:

Proposals must be submitted by a local or regional authority in an EU or a Horizon Europe Associated country, excluding those who are in the following countries where a project partner of INSPIRE is located: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden

Budget:

Applicants can apply for a minimum of EUR 60 000 up to a maximum of EUR 100 000.

Duration:

Granting of award to successful Associated Regions is expected in February 2025. Project implementation will be from the 1st of March 2025 to the 31st of August 2026, and project reporting will be from the 1st of September 2026 to the 28th of February 2027.
