Description of the funding initiative
The FEDER 2021-2027 Programme of the Brussels-Capital Region focuses on three priorities:
- Innovation, digitisation and business competitiveness at the service of regional development.
- Investing in the environment for the benefit of local residents and regional development.
- Investment in housing for specific target groups.
The second priority has links to Mission Ocean objectives via three objectives related to energy efficiency, the transition to a circular economy, and improving biodiversity, strengthening green infrastructure and reducing pollution.
Overview of eligibility requirements for applicants
Applicants need to be registered/domiciled in the Brussels-Capital Region. Potential applicants include small to medium enterprises, businesses, universities and research institutions, local and regional public administration and/or service providers, hospitals, charities, and citizens of the Brussels-Capital Region. Interested applicants are advised to check individual calls for proposals for details.
Rules on co-financing
Average co-financing rate of 40%.
