Drone footage allows visitors to “fly” across and under these water landscapes.

How to Enjoy the Mission Ocean and Waters Immersive Experience
- From the homepage at https://missionoceanwaters.eu, select the Discover button where you will be introduced to the three Mission goals: 1. reduce pollution, 2. increase protection, and 3. promote sustainable economic practices.
- Use your mouse to scroll over the images and watch how they move to convey the contradictions and challenges we currently face.
- As you continue to scroll down, you will land on a page inviting you to Explore the Mission. Here you should press the Start button. It may take a few seconds to load, so be patient.
- You will then move through a visual representation of the Mission, featuring the four "Lighthouses". The Mission Lighthouses each symbolize a specific European sea or river basin (Atlantic-Arctic, Baltic-North Sea, Danube-Black Sea, and Mediterranean Sea) and serve as centers for piloting, demonstrating, developing, and deploying Mission activities.
- As you explore each Mission Lighthouse by selecting the various links and blue dots you find on the screen (dots with an “i” will provide you information, dots that look like a target will send you on a journey, circles with images and names will lead you to commentary and interviews, etc.), you will discover stories from a community of people at European, national, and local levels. All are actively involved in projects and initiatives that contribute to the Mission's goals. Their stories are designed to inspire you and encourage your participation in the Mission through science, innovation, and societal actions aimed at restoring, protecting, and sustainably using our oceans and waters.
- Take your time to immerse yourself in the experience by selecting as much as you like, going back and forth (use the Back button), exploring and watching the numerous interviews, selecting all the blue dots, enjoying the flights across and under our ocean and waters, and more.
