Description of the funding initiative
The European Funds for Śląsk (Silesia) 2021-2027 is financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus and the Just Transition Fund. This Fund has ten priorities covering:
- European Funds for smart growth
- European Funds for green development
- European Funds for sustainable mobility
- European Funds for efficient transport
- European Funds for the labour market
- European Funds for education
- European Funds for society
- European Funds for infrastructure for the inhabitant
- European Funds for territorial development
- European Funds for a just transition
Priority number two on green development is linked with Mission Ocean and Waters objectives. Actions under this priority cover energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainable water management, wastewater and waste management, circular economy, and nature protection and conservation, biodiversity and the reduction of all types of pollution.
