The DANUBIUS-RI Data Portal offers a variety of services to the research and academic community, unifying existing data and knowledge across sectors and disciplines while incorporating new data and syntheses dedicated to River-Sea Systems. This complements DANUBIUS-RI's broader mission as a pan-European distributed research infrastructure supporting interdisciplinary research on large River Sea Systems. By addressing fragmented European research on RS systems and leveraging existing research excellence, DANUBIUS-RI maximizes the impact of European research investments. It acts as a one-stop platform for accessing European RS systems, fostering knowledge exchange, facilitating access to harmonized data, and providing a platform for interdisciplinary research, education, and training, all in the context of managing river-sea systems.
