Description
This funding is for projects aiming to develop and demonstrate a platform for Integrated Green Vessel Digital Twins (DTs) to improve the environmental performance of waterborne transport.
Objectives:
Project outputs and results are expected to contribute to the following expected outcomes:
- Development and demonstration of a platform for Integrated Green Vessel DTs that will provide a basis to continuously improve the environmental performance of vessels over their entire life cycle.
- Improved environmental performance through verifiable KPIs.
- Proven applicability of the platform to a wide variety of vessel operations throughout the vessels’ lifetime, by using model-based systems engineering, simulation and hardware in the loop approaches.

Budget:
A total of EUR 7.700.000 is allocated to the call HORIZON-CL5-2024-D5-01-15 - HORIZON-IA HORIZON Innovation Actions. The contribution to the project is approximately EUR 7.700.000 (1 grant foreseen).
