Description
The WebGIS processes and stores most information and data in digital format, structuring them into a geospatial dataset accessible through the platform. This platform enables stakeholders to visualize, query, and conduct geospatial analysis manually or using IT tools for spatial management and planning.
IMPACT's webGIS includes geospatial datasets related to surface marine currents, monthly averages of three-dimensional currents, oceanographic distance and retention rates, biological indices for organisms, and concentrations of chemical contaminants in marine matrices. This information, available on the webGIS, supports decisions for transboundary governance.
