Description
Objective of the call
The objective of this call for proposals for EU funding is to address the threat posed by submerged munitions in the Baltic Sea to human health and safety, the environment and the sustainable development of the blue economy. It aims to do this by promoting cooperation between the Baltic Sea Member States and neighbouring countries involved in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. It also encourages cooperation between the public and private sectors, including investors, civil and military entities, to collect essential data for the establishment of priority lists and risk assessments. This initiative aims to facilitate the exchange of best practices between different stakeholders and sea basin regions, while contributing to raising awareness of the issue.
