Description of the funding initiative
The Pays de la Loire ERDF-ESF+-JTF 2021-2027 has the following priorities:
- A region that supports research and innovation, digital usage, and competitiveness of SMEs within the framework of the regional strategy for smart specialization.
- A greener region that encourages virtuous and ambitious initiatives in favour of the environment, sustainable development and a carbon-neutral economy.
- A greener Region encouraging virtuous and ambitious initiatives in favour of sustainable multimodal urban mobility as part of the transition to carbon neutrality.
- A more social Region that supports active inclusion pathways.
- A Region that is closer to its citizens by encouraging sustainable and integrated development of urban, rural and coastal areas and local initiatives.
- Supporting the ecological transition of the Loire estuary
Objectives under Priorities 2 and 6 support mission objectives, for example, through: improving the protection and preservation of nature and biodiversity and strengthen green infrastructure, particularly in urban areas, and reduce all forms of pollution; and enabling regions and individuals to cope with the social, economic, environmental and employment consequences of the transition towards the EU's 2030 energy and climate objectives and towards a climate-neutral EU economy by 2050, on the basis of the Paris Agreement.

Rules on co-financing
Co-financing rate is between 60% to 70%, depending on the Priority. Consult the Regional Programme document for more details.

Interested applicants are advised to first consult the Regional Programme Document to understand if their projects are eligible.
