The 'Mission Area, Healthy Oceans, Seas, and Coastal and Inland Waters' report presents the findings of the 'Foresight on Demand' project consortium of experts, which focused on the challenges related to healthy oceans, seas, coastal, and inland waters. The consortium's findings emphasised that oceans and water ecosystems face challenges stemming from culture and inconsistent human actions. The recovery of healthy oceans and waters revealed remarkable consistency in the commitment of stakeholders. It is stressed that Europe can become a global leader in fields related to climate mitigation and the ocean.
