Description of the funding initiative
Activities of the King Baudouin Foundation aim to foster sustainable and positive change in society in Belgium, Europe and around the world. The long-term programmes of the Foundation cover:

- Climate, the environment and biodiversity
- Education and development of talents
- Europe & International
Under the topic of climate, the environment and biodiversity, the Foundation’s activities contribute to informing policy makers’ decisions in favour of the climate, supporting the transition towards a circular economy, investing in environmental protection and biodiversity, and contributing to improving animal well-being.
Overview of eligibility requirements for applicants
The Foundation supports organisations (e.g. non-profit organisations, cultural organisations, universities and local government bodies) and citizens who serve the community in fields such as health, the fight against poverty, the environment, and heritage, in Belgium and internationally.
Eligibility for funding is call-specific.
