Description of the funding initiative
The priorities, objectives and measures for the 2021-2027 funding programme are:
Priority 1: Research and innovation

Priority 2: Climate and environment

- Common knowledge base - inventory and data exchange for better preparation for the effects of climate change

- Raising awareness and training for adaptation to climate change
- Nature conservation and biodiversity

Eligible areas are:
- Austria: Innviertel, Linz-Wels, Mostviertel-Eisenwurzen, Mühlviertel, Sankt Pölten, Steyr-Kirchdorf, Waldviertel, Weinviertel, Wien, Wiener Umland/Nordteil
- Czechia: Jihomoravský kraj, Jihočeský kraj, Kraj Vysočina
Rules on co-financing
The amount of co-financing from ERDF funds in the Interreg Austria-Czech Republic 2021-2027 program is 80% for all project types.
Procedures to submit proposal
The project application including the budget must be prepared and submitted in German and Czech. It may not be submitted in English.
Austrian project partner organizations: At least one project partner organization must have its headquarters/competences in the program area.
Czech project partner organizations: The project partner organizations may be based outside the program area. However, the project must always have a clear influence in the program area and the involvement of project partner organizations outside the program area must be well justified.
