Description of the funding initiative
The Polish EMFAF 2021-2027 programme will support sustainable and low-carbon fishing activities; the protection of marine biodiversity and marine ecosystems; supplying European consumers with healthy, high-quality seafood; enhancing the socio-economic attractiveness and rejuvenation of the fishing sector, in particular in small-scale coastal fishing; the development of sustainable and competitive aquaculture increasing food security; developing skills and improving working conditions in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors; the economic and social vitality of coastal communities; innovation in a sustainable blue economy; maritime security that keeps the seas safe; and international cooperation to keep oceans healthy, safe and sustainably managed.
