Description of the funding initiative
The German EMFAF Programme 2021-2027 supports the development of sustainable fisheries and aquaculture in Germany, the conservation of marine biological resources, for food security through the provision of fishery and aquaculture products, and for healthy, safe, protected, clean and sustainably managed seas and oceans, rivers, lakes and pond landscapes.
Overview of eligibility requirements for applicants
Eligibility for funding is Priority-specific, but are available to professional fishermen and fishing companies, aquaculture companies, universities and research organisations, industry organisations and associations, NGOs and fishery authorities. See the EMFAF Programme details (in German only).
Rules on co-financing
Average co-financing rate is 70%. See the EMFAF Programme details (in German only).
