Description of the funding initiative
The Programme 2021-2027 Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has five specific objectives:
- Developing and expanding research and innovation capacities and the introduction of advanced technologies;
- Increasing the sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and creating jobs in SMEs, including through productive investments;
- Promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions;
- Developing smart energy systems, grids and storage systems outside the trans-European energy network (TEN-E);
- Improving the protection and conservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including in urban areas, and reducing all forms of pollution.
