Let’s honour World Water Day by safeguarding our ocean and waters. The Call for Expression of Interest seeks to gather applications from communities of actors wanting to aid the Mission ‘Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030’.
By participating in this call for technical assistance, selected projects will gain access to technical assessments and feasibility studies that will provide expert support towards protecting and restoring marine and freshwater ecosystems and biodiversity, preventing and eliminating pollution of our ocean, seas, and waters and making the sustainable blue economy carbon-neutral and circular.
The technical assistance is made to match the needs, capacity, and interests of the applicants. It will provide tailored expert support for applicants’ projects on key dimensions such as regulatory, technical, economic, operational, environmental and commercial feasibility. The feasibility studies will provide an assessment of the overall viability of the projects and recommendations on how to improve the viability of selected actions. Selected beneficiaries will gain a clearer understanding of the project feasibility and/or requirements to scale up and further develop the project.
The primary goals of this Call for Expression of Interest are to empower and strengthen the selected projects, propelling them towards impactful outcomes aligned with the Mission Ocean and Waters objectives and targets.
