Description
This report facilitates the creation of benchmarks and collaborations between countries and stakeholders to safely scale the cultivation of macroalgae in the Baltic Sea. The report also provides recommendations that assist in the creation of a sustainable blue economy while suggesting improvements to the procedures for receiving environmental permits. All of these efforts aim to set the stage for increased investment in the aquaculture sector of Baltic and Nordic countries.
