Description
The ASTRAL project incorporates a variety of technological solutions for advancing Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA). These solutions encompass a comprehensive range of innovations to promote sustainable aquaculture practices, including biosensors, advanced water quality sensors like automated spectrometers and fluorometers, low-cost monitoring kits equipped with Internet of Things (IoT) technology, AI-based vision sensors, and an automated microplastics sensor. Collectively, these technological advancements are poised to ensure and enhance the sustainability, efficiency, and environmental responsibility of aquaculture operations
