The Horizon 2020 Policy Support Facility (PSF) has been set up by the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) of the European Commission under the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation ‘Horizon 2020’. It supports Member States and countries associated to Horizon 2020 in reforming their national science, technology and innovation systems.

Specific Support to Romania: Background Report - The Romanian Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

The Horizon 2020 Policy Support Facility (PSF) has been set up by the Directorate-General for Research & Innovation (DG RTD) of the European Commission under the EU Framework Programme for Research & Innovation ‘Horizon 2020’. It supports Member States and countries associated to Horizon 2020 in reforming their national science, technology and innovation systems.

  • Specific Support to Romania: kick-off meeting

    The panel of experts met the Romanian representatives and discussed the main results they expect to receive from the exercise. During the meeting, the timing for the first country visit was decided and a draft proposal for the agenda of this visit was discussed.

    During the first country visit the panel of experts had in-depth discussions with stakeholders from the business sector and representatives of the Romanian administration involved in the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

  • Specific Support to Romania: final event – Start-ups, Scale-ups and Entrepreneurship in Romania  

    The dissemination event presented the final report, ‘Start-ups, Scale-ups and Entrepreneurship in Romania’, highlighting the recommendations drawn up by the panel of international experts. The Romanian stakeholders were able to discuss further the results presented by the chair of the panel, Mr Paulo Andrez, during the follow-up roundtable.
