This guide will clarify the different concepts and terminology linked to knowledge valorisation and exploitation notably targeting EU-funded research and innovation projects. It briefly introduces key pillars of the EU’s knowledge valorisation policy and illustrates the differences between communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities, and pointing out the areas they have in common. It is intended as a practical guidance to project partners when developing their project’s outreach and exploitation strategy.
