ICT solution: Strategical technologies
VINNOVA fosters radical innovation in domains of space, defence (dual use) and excellence clusters, in technology areas of strategic importance for Sweden. VINNOVA aims to use the PCP instrument to work with radical innovation related to strategic areas with a SME-friendly approach and an improved funding mechanism in terms of speed and simplicity. Looking to create new markets, VINNOVA implemented a programme of several procurements (PCP).
Key technologies:

- Advanced digital technology for productivity and safety
- Quantum technology for security and industrial applications
- Energy technology for fossil-free electrification
- Material and production technology for conversion
- Biotechnology for health and climate change
This is part of the Swedish technology strategy and the excellence clusters initiative.

CURRENT STATUS - Completed project
All 4 types of assistance under EAFIP were provided: needs assessment, business case development, market analysis (including a State-of -the-Art analysis and Open Market Consultation) and preparation of the tender documents.
The assistance was completed in the context of the 'Anti-Drone Resonse 2.0" project in close collaboration with SPRIN-D. A project aimed to develop new, scalable, and above all de-escalatory approaches that can flexibly respond to diverse threat scenarios and effectively protect public airspace.
