This webinar will showcase how projects funded by the Green Deal Call, Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe are applying advanced digital solutions to urban transformation, including:
PROBONO – sustainable neighbourhood planning
ICOS Cities-PAUL – greenhouse gas monitoring
STARGATE – digital twin ecosystems for airport decarbonisation
DTERBIM – deep, energy-efficient, circular renovation of existing buildings
Together, these examples demonstrate how data-driven technologies can support smarter, greener, and more resilient cities.
By drawing on concrete project experiences, the webinar will explore how these tools are being applied in practice, what types of data and artifiial intelligence (AI) capabilities are most useful, and what is still needed to scale-up uptake across cities. It will also provide a space to reflect on common issues such as data interoperability, integration across urban systems, usability for public authorities, and the policy and funding conditions needed to support wider deployment in line with current EU priorities on climate-neutral cities, sustainable mobility, and environmental data sharing.
