Get ready for the 6th EU Blue Parks Community Workshop, taking place in person in Brussels on 4 March 2026!
The EU Blue Parks Community is hosting its next workshop ‘Open dialogue: Next steps for the European Blue Parks initiative’ as part of the European Ocean Days. The event will explore and discuss the next steps of the Community in the deployment phase of Mission Ocean and Waters.
This will be the third in-person meeting of this growing network, now connecting over 130 organisations involved in marine protection. The workshop offers a unique opportunity for members to engage directly, exchange insights, and strengthen their involvement.

About the EU Blue Parks Community
The EU Blue Parks Community under the EU Mission ‘Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030’ brings together EU Member States’ national, regional and local authorities, European marine networks, businesses, and research and innovation projects to collaborate on marine protection and restoration in EU sea basins. The community aims to help identify and address challenges, share tools, solutions and good practices for marine protected areas (MPAs), contributing to the protection of 30% and strict protection of 10% of EU sea areas by 2030.
