DTO4ECOPS - Digital Twins of the Ocean & Early Career Ocean Professionals

A satellite event of the 2024 Ocean Decade Conference, the workshop aims to revisit existing ocean data-sharing efforts across regions, including initiatives on data and information management, capacity building, and networks.

The DTO4ECOPS workshop focuses on leveraging ocean data networks with cloud technologies to deliver the desired ocean outcomes both today and in the future. 

Furthermore, the workshop will assess current initiatives in ocean digital twinning and explore how Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOPs) can employ these technologies to propel the objectives of the Ocean Decade. ECOPs will engage in interactive dialogues to exchange viewpoints, pinpoint obstacles, and suggest strategies for maximizing emerging prospects in ocean science.

Participation is free and accessible to everyone, subject to availability. Pre-registration by March 31st is mandatory.
