Description of the funding initiative

This Programme, funded through Cohesion Policy Funds for the period 2021-2027, aims to create a robust an competitive economy through smart, digital and green investments, under full employment and social cohesion. The programme has 16 priorities, and the following priorities can be linked to the three Mission Ocean Objectives:

Priority 2: Energy and Environment, with objectives on accessibility and sustainable water management, and the protection and conservation of natural environment and biodiversity.
Priority 5: Climate Change and Circular Economy, with an objective on the promotion of circular economy.

Overview of eligibility requirements for applicants

The potential beneficiaries of the fund are summarised under the objectives of each of the 16 priorities. These potential beneficiaries include national and local government and public service bodies/authorities, enterprises including small to medium enterprises, research institutions, nature management bodies, non-governmental organisations,

Procedures to submit proposal

The competent authorities for this fund invite potential beneficiaries to submit project proposals. The Calls are posted in the “Invitations for Proposals” section of the website of the THALIA 2021-2027 programme, as well as on the respective websites of the competent authorities.
