Mark Ferguson is Chair of the European Innovation Council Board. From January 2012-2022 he was Director General Science Foundation Ireland and Chief Scientific Adviser to the Government of Ireland.Prior to that Mark co founded and was CEO of Renovo Group plc developing pharmaceuticals to improve scarring and accelerate healing based on patented discoveries from his research group at the University of Manchester where he was Professor and Dean of Life Sciences.
