Marc Schiltz is President of Science Europe and CEO of the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR)

He holds a PhD in Crystallography and an executive MBA from INSEAD.
He has been active in research and research management for more than 25 years in several European countries

As President of Science Europe, he has been setting the European agenda to foster Open Science and to reform research assessment
. He is Chairman of cOAlition S and sits on the Governing Board of the Global Research Council.
He was also the founding Chairman of the Luxembourg Agency for Research Integrity.
