Dr. Eugenia Gimeno-García is working at the Desertification Research Centre (CIDE), a Spanish joint research centre between CSIC, UV and Generalitat Valenciana
. She is Ph.D in Biological Sciences from the University of Valencia, with more than 25 years of experience on soil science and related topics as: (i) soil survey and monitoring; (ii) soil degradation processes in Mediterranean environments, related to soil erosion by water, forest fires effects on soil properties and their relationship with the vegetation recovery; (iii) soil and water pollution.
